A child genius has graduated four associate degrees in college. Here's the story.
Jack Rico did not let the fact that he is still 13 years old prevent him from doing well in school. At his young age, he has already received four associate degrees from college.
Rico completed degrees in history, art and human expression, social science, and social behavior. He got the degrees from Fullerton College in southern California.

Early attempts at learning
According to his mother, Ru Andrade, Rico always exhibited a precious inquisitiveness even when he was still young. She said that he loved learning even when he was still a baby.
They attempted to enroll the young boy in a regular school when he was much younger. But, he struggled with Math in third grade so the family decided to put him through homeschooling instead.
Surprisingly, Rico made significant progress in his studies when he began homeschooling. He began taking on lessons and subjects that were way more advanced for his age.
College at 10
When he reached the age of 10, he had already finished his high school lessons. Andrade, who works in Fullerton College, wanted to know if he would thrive in a college environment.
She then enrolled him on a World Religion trial college class. His professors and classmates were thoroughly impressed with his joyful personality and thirst for learning.
With the resounding success of his trial classes, he began taking college courses. He aced the courses, finishing the associate degrees in just two years.
Sadly, the boy genius was not able to attend his traditional graduation ceremony because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, the school organized a drive-by graduation parade to celebrate the youngest graduate in the college’s history. Fullerton College President Greg Schulz attended the short ceremony.
Even with his stellar achievements, Jack Rico has not decided yet as to what he wants to be when he becomes an adult. However, he does plan on enrolling in the University of Nevada in Las Vegas for a Bachelor’s Degree in History.
